What sort of education do you have?
I’ve done various Vocational training programmes and University courses.
How did you get in to tech/coding?
Funnily enough I got into it by elimination and never looked back. I compared different industries, workplaces, benefits, hours, wages etc. the choice was simple.
Have you always had an interest in coding/tech?
Actually, the interest has come over time. I have always had an interest in solving problems and this is such a fundamental requirement in the Tech world.
What would you say is the best thing about your tech-life?
The flexibility to try new things and people’s openness in the industry.
Would you say that equality is high within Hero Gaming and your team?
Yes, I would.
Have you encountered any problems being a woman in tech? (like stereotypes and so on)
Not in my professional life, but in school it was different.
What do you think would make more young girls/women choose a career in tech and/or coding?
Crush the myth that it is an asocial job done in cellar rooms.
How have you been received as a woman in such a male dominated field?
As an equal.
In what tech-role do you see yourself in 5–10 year?
In a more organizational role.
