Hero Gaming was founded in 2013 by Georg Westin and we set up our first office in Malta in 2014. Over the years, we have grown our presence in Malta’s iGaming hub, establishing our Operations Centre at Spinola Park in St Julian’s. As an organization, we are determined to give back to our communities, by contributing to changes in the places and causes we love.

One cause which is very close to our hearts is the environment. We aspire to improve our environment, actively support sustainability and improve the overall wellbeing for current and future generations. To commemorate our 7 years in Malta and to celebrate 2021 World Earth Day, the Hero Gaming Foundation has partnered with QuickLets and Zanzi Homes foundation (QLZH Foundation) to plant 700 indigenous trees, a symbolic number for us, representing 100 trees for every year the company has been operating in Malta.

The QLZH Foundation’s project truly applies an ecological mindset, where they nurture Maltese native species of trees from seed to sapling, cultivate them in nurseries before planting them in ecological reserves, public and private lands. The whole process takes around 3 years, – it increases awareness and appreciation of our ecosystems, creating a sustainable afforestation project to be enjoyed for many generations to come.

By supporting the planting of trees, Hero Gaming aims to contribute towards a greener environment in Malta and help clean the air, provide homes for wildlife, increase biodiversity and make a positive social impact for our local communities. The benefits are priceless, and Hero Gaming is proud to actively support Malta’s greener future.
