Hero Gaming has on December 27th 2018 been awarded a license to perform gaming related business in Sweden. The license is granted by the Swedish Gambling authority (Spelinspektionen) and applies to Hero Gaming’s gaming sites Casino Heroes, Speedy Casino and Speedy Bet.
The Swedish Gambling Authority (SGA) approved Hero Gaming’s license application to provide commercial online gambling and sports betting on the Swedish market, starting January 1st 2019.
Three of Hero Gaming’s brands will operate on the Swedish market: Speedy Casino, Speedy Bet and Casino Heroes.
The new Swedish Gambling licensing will regulate the Swedish market, aiming to ensure that all gambling is legal, safe and reliable for Swedish players. It also ensures that the available currency for Swedish players will be the Swedish Krona (SEK) from January 1st, 2019.
