Sarah Stellini has been appointed as CEO as of the 1st November, 2022 shortly after joining Hero Gaming back in April 2022 as Commercial Director – All Markets.
With over 13 years of experience within the digital entertainment industry and extensive experience in marketing and acquisition, Sarah brings significant knowledge and a fresh perspective to the business. Together with the management team, she will be leading Hero Gaming on the interesting opportunities that lie ahead.
Hero Gaming has been working through its strategy and structure since the sale of its Swedish B2C assets. In recent months, the company had been looking at ways in which it could focus more on the core markets and deliver the best gaming experience for its customers. This exercise led to the company’s management team to decide to undertake a re-organisation in order to achieve a more streamlined company whilst at the same time bringing more focus to its activities.
“We regret to see some of our heroes moving on and we’re thankful for their work and contributions to the company’s journey so far. However, the re-organisation in itself was a much needed process for the company to ensure its long term future and thanks to the hard work of the previous management team, led by Patrick Jonker, the company is now in a better position to react with agility with respect to the core markets which it operates in. The future of Hero Gaming now lies in its core markets with the aim of continuing to deliver the best customer experience and innovative products to its customer base.” – says Sarah Stellini, CEO
Georg Westin, Founder, and Chairman of the Board expresses; “I have just as much faith in Hero Gaming as ever and with the great people, technology and brands, we have a thriving future. Sarah has the energy to form the new organization and she will be a great CEO.”
Together with the management, Sarah Stellini will be an essential part to Hero Gaming’s success as the company continues striving in achieving excellence and upping its game in its next phase.
